Public Health
NRUDRH, as a partnership between two universities providing postgraduate public health education, provides coursework development, teaching, and student supervision for both programs.
The SCU MPH http://www.scu.edu.au/courses/matrix/all/postgrad/haas.php
is delivered in two formats. The leadership MPH Is a coursework-based degree that prepares the student for a senior management career in health services. The research MPH prepares students for advanced training in epidemiological and population health research. The SCU program gains strength from its close association with the School of Business and with other department of the School of Health and Human Science, such as Nursing, naturopathy, exercise and sport science.
The University of Sydney MPH http://www.health.usyd.edu.au/about/index.php
concentrates on epidemiologic research and health and economics. The student handbook lists offerings for the school. http://www.health.usyd.edu.au/current/handbooks/coursehandbooks.php#stuhand
Students enrolling in either of these MPH programs can take coursework in the other to augment their training, filling gaps between the two schools areas of strength. Both programs offer courses by distance delivery.
