COMMUNITY BASED RESEARCH ASSISTANT

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our team working on a community based project designed to help pregnant Aboriginal women stop smoking.
 
Having experience working with Aboriginal communities, organisations and particularly young women you will rely on your administrative skills as you take responsibility for data management including mail-out of surveys, management of responses and identification of problems. Your ability to communicate effectively with young people and work with Aboriginal communities will be crucial to your success as you organise and conduct interviews with young Aboriginal women and organise meetings, focus groups and liaise with Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Health Strategy (AMIHS) teams across NSW.

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT (STUDENT COORDINATION)

We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic person to join our Grafton team as an Administrative Assistant (Student Coordination). You will coordinate student clinical placements inclusive of data entry, accommodation bookings, student orientation tours and packaging; and assist the student coordinator to collect student evaluations and maintain the database.

To be successful you will have a Certificate IV in Administration (or equivalent experience) and have an extensive administrative background, preferably in a health and/or academic environment. Your adherence to policy and procedure combined with your ability to respond to changing priorities as well as your high level organisational skills will see you succeed in this position. A current NSW drivers licence with North Coast Area Health Service clearance to drive NCAHS fleet cars is essential to this position.
